Trying to find the motivation to do homework today. Still struggling with ideas for the technical manual I have to write. Can't seem to get off the idea of writing The Clueless Person's Guide to Thrifting - it's not exactly technical, is it? Any ideas out there, I'd love to hear them.
How about using a camera. Going from Manual to AE or something like that? Or building a character for a novel? Or growing something? Hmmm...Must it be technological? How about how to start a blogger blog?

Hi Andrea, thanks for your suggestions! I had thought about doing a photography manual, but I really don't consider myself to be at the level where I can write expertly about it. But I did end up hitting on something that has actually turned out to be perfect!
ReplyDeleteI use the free Google-supported photo editing program Picasa for my digital post-processing (rather than PhotoShop because it's so expensive and complicated to use) and I've been able to get some pretty cool result with it, so I'm going to write a Picasa manual! It'll be an instructional guide to using the basic tools and features, and then a more comprehensive guide to combining the tools to create more advanced results. I know the program well enough to write about it, but there are enough feature I haven't used that should make it a bit of a challenge :)
